London City Hotel is very easy to find. It is only a few steps away on your right from Borough tube station, which is in central London, close to the city and major tourist attractions.

Tube (Underground)

Train

Borough tube station on the Northern Line, which is one stop after London Bridge station. There is no need for a taxi since we are next door to the station entrance.

The nearest mainline station is London Bridge. Waterloo station and the Eurolink are 3 stops away from the hotel. If you are travelling from Victoria station the direct C10 bus will take you to the Hotel at Borough tube station.

Car

The following buses stop at Borough tube station - 35, 133, 343, P3, 40 and C10.

The hotel does not have parking facilities as it is in the very centre of London. An NCP parking centre is available a couple of minutes drive either at the Elephant & Castle shopping centre or at Guy’s Hospital.

Air

London is served by two main airports, Gatwick and Heathrow. Both have fast train links to the centre of London:-

  • The Gatwick Express takes you straight to Victoria station where you take the underground Victoria West line to Stockwell tube station, then change for the Northern Line north bound to Borough tube station.
  • The Heathrow Express takes you to Paddington station where you take the underground Bakerloo southbound line to Elephant & Castle tube station, then change for the Northern line northbound line (one stop only) to Borough tube station.
  • From Stanstead Airport take the train to Liverpool Street mainline station, then change for the underground westbound Central Line to Bank station (one stop only). Then change to the Northern Line southbound to Borough tube station (2 stops).
